A similar car just sold here in SoCal for $70K but with 3x the mileage. Silver and black combo is very popular and can add a few 1000 to the price. I wouldn't let it go for a few thousand if it's what you're looking for.

Are you referring to the 2010 silver car or the 2011 meteor grey? This thread discusses both .

When you first started this thread I thought "that price is in line with what I've seen around here" but was curious to see what others said. After a couple weeks and just checking the auction prices for what your sample is (2010 C4S low mile cab AND CPO) I wouldn't expect to swoop this up for $75k. Inventory is low for these cars. If people don't end up keeping them, the dealers don't send lease returns to auction - they're well aware there's money to be made. The available wholesale data supports this.
It's your hard earned money to decide to spend but that's where the market is (for now). Good luck with your search JRW.

I wouldn't use or recommend this dealer for any type of reference point on pricing. In fact everyone on here should check out this site if you havent already. Buyer beware!

... file this reply in the "For what's its worth" category only.
I have a 2010 C4S Cab (997.2), highly optioned w/ PDK I keep in excellent condition with 11,200 miles and 1 year of original warranty remaining. It has visited 3 of the many Porsche dealers in the San Francisco Bay area and this Oct/Nov I had calls from each dealer asking me if I was interested in selling the car to them. I'm not, but they all remarked that quality cars were low in inventory and they had buyers asking. This may be simply a refection of the NorCal/SoCal market, I don't know, but I found it interesting to get a call from the all three dealers I have used in the past. By the way, they know I do all my own maintenance and minor service (fluids, brakes, filters, resets, etc) and it didn't seem to be an issue. Since I did not pursue the discussion further, I have no insight to what they would offer, but if I had to guess, I'd think they would buy at the lower end and sell at the high end of the price range being they are Porsche dealers plus their ability to offer CPO extended coverage.

I started this thread for the following 2010 C4S Cab:
http://aristocrat.porschedealer.com/...28916/info.php
Subsequently, I also became interested in the following 2011 C4S Cab:
http://princeton.porschedealer.com/c...39902/info.php
I made what I thought was a fair offer for each car. For the 2010, the Kansas dealer has refused to go below $78k. For the 2011, the New Jersey dealer is willing to sell it for $86k plus he will pay for shipping to Texas, which he claims will cost close to $2k.
Of note is that in both instances, I will need to buy a new set of tires, which will set me back close to $2k. The Kansas car has snow tires, while the New Jersey car has worn out performance tires, just barely qualifying for the CPO certification.
My sense is that both dealers are reluctant to go lower right now because they just got the cars and are willing to wait to see if there will be another buyer who will pay more than me.
