Default TPMS ?

I'm a new owner of an 05 C2S and I'm trying to figure out if it has tpms or not. there is nothing mentioned in the owners manual, nothing on the window sticker. anyone know when they started using them?

Thanks

If you have it, tire pressure information will be accessible on the info screen beneath the tach in the gauge cluster. You can cycle between the various available info by pressing up or down on the lower left stalk on the steering column.

Also, welcome to the forum. Post pics of your new C2S!

07 was when it became standard. you can normally tell when you start the car... the display will immediately show graphically the tire pressures on each wheel (where the oil level display is)... if it doesnt you likely do not have tpms.

also you can visually see them on the valve stems as well (the tpms sensors)

Looks great. Is that basalt black?

Honestly, the TPMS just makes me more OCD than I already am, and I wouldn't miss it if it were gone.

Thanks,
It's Atlas Grey. I don't care that it doesn't have TPMS, I was just wondering in case I wanted to buy different wheels.

Correct it was an option in '06. I had TPMS but removed it as every time I swopped wheels I had issues and reallly how hard is it to measure tire pressure manually?

Mandated TPMS is a bitch!

for a car thats normally driven during the summer/good weather only its not a huge deal to have tpms or not since checking it manually every few weeks or a month is easy .... however tpms has saved my a$$ on half a dozen occasions during snowy winter time (on the daily drivers).

im going to guess that many 05's dont have tpms (mine doenst)
