Default Also new

I also just bought my first Porsche. 2009 C2S 6MT. Macadamia Metallic--pretty unique color.

It's pretty awesome except for two things. 1.) It smells like burning rubber after driving. I'm assuming it's cosmoline but I'm surprised since it has 35,000 miles. 2.) I've got some rattles in the back which I haven't found yet. Any suggestions on tackling rattles.

The Macadamia is hard to find and a great color - congrats.

Congrats to both new owners. Enjoy!

ZCasper, as to rattles, double check the rear seat back latches, and the rear side panels where the speakers are mounted. Someone may have been in there doing mods, repairs and didn't re-install correctly or broke a mounting tab or fastener. I asume the dealer will take care of that for you, have you asked?

Again, congrats!

Congrats to both new owners and best of luck with the cars! I hope you find that rattle as I know how annoying one little thing like that ca n be on an otherwise impeccable car.

Congrats to both of you. I love racing green and macadamia.

Bumpjump, that picture with the orange leaves is gorgeous.

You know, I've heard that a lot. Are you in the DC area? Any recommendations on service providers--dealers or independents?
