Very nice!

So how much around the area you're spraying do you need to mask off? Does this stuff overspray or drift around much?

Great question, I did the Red "S" first obviously and only masked around 6-8 inches, I ended up wiping down the whole back end. The good news is it whipes off very easily with a Mico Towel. When I did the Carerra I brought out some newspaper and taped 18 inches or so around it. It does drift pretty good when you spray it.

Good to know! I'm going to get some and mess around with it. I'm thinking the whole Carrera S in Anthracite. I'll grab some red too, just in case.

[QUOTE=MessyMarvin;10837167]This is where I ended up, I do like the idea of Red Carrera and Black S, I did not think of that until it was to late.

Sooo Easy to do and it Pops so much more. I love it!!!

That looks absolutely great - could you just tell exactly how you removed the letters (dental floss?) and what you used to re-attach them?

That is the best part of Plasti Dip, you do not remove anything, you tape just a sqare around the emblem with paper on each side to stop drift, Spray 4 coats about 5-10 minutes apart, then you let it sit 25-30 minutes and pull it up. It pulls up everywhere except on the emblems.

Google Plasti Dip Emblem and you will get many Video's on how to do it.

Nice job! I hate doing small letters like that with Plasti dip since it will inevitably peel sooner than later unless VERY gently hand washed back there...

(my wheels are plasti dipped and I have an old beater that's FULL dipped). Anyways you did a GREAT job and I hope it lasts for you on those little letters. I wont touch mine because I know what I'm getting myself into with that specific application. On another note, how about some more pics of that sexy white .2!!
