OT. On the topic of Plasti-Dip...
Ok, so it's not Porsche related but we've been talking about Plasti-Dip alot recently. I found out about the stuff on this forum (thanks alot, I think) and bought the Anthracite kit for my wheels. Since I've never sprayed Plasti-Dip before, I wanted to practice on something a little less expensive.
I bought some camo colors and dragged my three-year-old son's Powerwheels Jeep into the garage. My two older kids helped. We did the Jeep up in camo colors, stenciled on some stars and then mounted a Nerf gun to a swivel mount on the rear, made out of some poly pipe and a flag cleat for a swivel.
I think it turned out pretty cool. I'm going to have to show my kids some old re-runs of "Rat Patrol" and then send them out to terrorize the neighborhood.

Nice job. Your garage floor is identical to the one I installed in my last house a number of years ago.
BTW, was it "Rat Patrol" or "Desert Rats"?
I too decided to play with Plasti-Dip recently. My old 01 RAV4 beater had horrible looking flat gray unpainted bumpers and side trim. I cleaned them all and sprayed them with gunmetal PD and it looks like a new car now. It took less than 3 cans to do 4 or 5 coats. And if anything gets peeled, I can just spray over it again. Quite amazing stuff.

Rat Patrol (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060018/). A short-lived action show from the late sixties that I loved as a kid. Apparently the public didn't love it so much. The main characters were OSS-types who tore around the desert in jeeps with big machine guns mounted on them.
"Desert Rats" is a nickname usually associated with the British 8th army in North Africa but the term specifically applies to the 7th Armored Division within the 8th army--not the army as a whole. The division wore patches with a red jerboa on them.
Some Australian defenders of Tobruk during the same campaign claim the name, too, but I don't have a dog in that fight. They called themselves the "rats of Tobruk" because German broadcasts during the seige warned them that they were caught like rats in a trap.
Just a little bit of useless trivia

I have never seen the "rat patrol', but after the intro in the post above your powerwheels looks almost identical, and every bit as cool. Rotes, where do you get a "girl of the day" pics? Keep them coming.
