Assistance needed with getting bonnet open
#16
I'll tell you all this, though: The old battery was a Moll/Porsche-branded battery that, as far as I know, was the original battery from 7 years ago. From the time of purchase the starter always sounded lathargic, though the battery has worked for the last 6 months that I've owned the car. One would think that if a battery is on the way out it's not got much time before it's completely dead. Anyhow, now that the new battery is installed, startup sounds "right" and is much quicker to fire the motor up. Plus the windows, and other items function much quicker. FYI, the Black & Decker battery tester I used faulted with an error "F03" meaning the battery was sulfated. I suppose I could've tried reviving it with a recondition, but in the end it was just time.
