Default Problem with 997 radio

I have a 2005 Carrera with about 69k miles. Recently, I went to turn the radio on and there was no power...nothing. Just a dark screen. Even with the headlights on the buttons don't light up. I checked the fuses and the 25 amp fuse labeled for the amp and speakers was blown. I replaced it and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

There is a 10 amp fuse on the back of the radio. You must remove the radio to access it. Here is a DIY for removal:

Good luck. Take it easy on removing the side panels. That's the hardest part of the operation!

Are there any after market accessories installed like Bluetooth, Ipod or Sat radio?
Follow the directions on that link and you will not have a problem.

Good luck and let us know what you find

Thanks everyone...I think I'll take it to a professional auto stereo place and have them do it so I don't break it. I pray it is just that 10amp fuse...
