Beautiful car! I'd love to see some interior pictures. The perfect car to enjoy wine country!

I don't know the roads too well going over to Winters via Putah Creek but if they are decent that would be a great drive too. There are typically fewer bicycles in this area, at least to around Lake Hennessy (and if you see one it is likely to be me on it). Stay away from Mt. Veeder, either on Dry Creek or Mt. Veeder Rd. as the roads are really crappy to even ride a bike on, and too many tourists on Trinity/Oakville grade. Past Calistoga over to Healdsburg via Jim Town seems like it should have potential but I haven't been on that route yet. Any derivation off of Petrified Forest Road (just north of Calistoga) is also fun and a great way to pass the time while heading to the Coast. Sad, in a way, to say I ride my bike about 10 times more than I drive my GTS here; I always think about how great the roads would be to drive but after about 100 to 120 Kms in the saddle, I'm just too beat up to get behind the wheel. I will keep my eye out for you while I ride so if you see some crazy cyclist with a red helmet waving at you it will likely be me!

Best.
Tcc1999,
I am in Yountville on the east side near Bouchon bakery. Going on a drive up the Silverado Trail to Middletown tomorrow. I usually time my bike rides to avoid the tourist tasters on the road. I will look for you if you are on the Silverado Trail.

Beautiful car - congratulations. I wish I would have the "same roads" as you have there.

Super nice cab. Congrats! You are going to love the top down motoring. There is really nothing like it short of a motorcycle. Enjoy.

More photos to follow.
I want to see pics of that interior, sounds sharp....

It's always nice to see some more color on these pages. I never understand the fear of bright colors by so many today, both here in the USA and abroad. It wasn't always that way.

I ride by there all the time (I've probably even ridden by your house). I don't want to ramble on about things that others probably don't care about. If you are up for it, send me an EMAIL (tcc1999@me.com) and I'll give you some other details about things I've seen around here that you might be interested in (or maybe even go for a drive - Turquoise Blue and Speed Yellow - that might draw a few looks).

Fskof,
Thanks for the compliment, I used a Leica S2 with 70mm Summarit.

Short for Kodachrome film - Speed Yellow is close to the color of the Kodak yellow box.

For those too young, cameras used to use an analog, organic recording media composed of gelatin and silver that produced an output that digital media is still trying to live up to.

Film is not dead, it just smells funny
