The part I don't get is why they go through the whole PM process. Why not just say what the deal is so that everyone can see. Seems silly to shroud it in mystery. And while they are offering a significant discount, it's not so deep as to make it impossible to refuse.

If you were already in the market for it, it is a killer deal.

Perhaps posting a price on the camera is defined as running an advertised price, which may violate some sales agreement he has with GoPro or some of his other suppliers?
