Cost of ownership of buying a "fun" 3rd car (and keeping it for 20 years)

I would imagine he is not talking about YTD, the past 5 years, and with the debt ceiling approaching and disaster of a Health Care Bill that no one seems to want to talk about I can only assume that is what he is referring to in the future. We are fooling ourselves putting trillions of dollars into the economy, it is giving some a false sense of comfort that we are actually doing OK. Our economy is a disaster. Imagine making $30K a year, having a $800K house, $100K in Credit Card debt, and owning $200K worth of cars. That is about equivelant to where we stand. In the end it will not hurt us as much, instead we will leave this to our kids and grand-children to figure out.
