Talking Wheel Spacer Kits @ Shark Werks

Hey folks just an FYI... with the rather conservative offsets on the 997s to allow for snow chains in Germany (no really that's why!) we've been outfitting the 997s with front and rear wheel spacer kits. Lowered and/or stock...

RSS Wheel Spacer Kits for Porsche Automobiles are available in Silver or Black finish and come with longer wheel bolts for correct fitment.
(Silver spacers ship w/ Silver wheel bolts, Black spacers ship with Black wheel bolts)

• Available in 5mm, 7mm, 15mm and 18mm sizes

• Most popular sizes are 7mm in front and 15mm in rear

• All kits come with new longer wheel bolts and locating/alignment pin for easy installation

• Perfect upgrade to achieve that aggressive look and stance

• Designed and manufactured in Southern California

In stock and ready to ship from SHARKWERKS, click HERE to place your order or call them at 510.651.0300

Should you consider what wheels you have in choosing what spacer size to use? Or will those sizes work with any factory wheel?

Most of the factory wheels have the same offsets but they have them stamped on there too. You can measure from the fender but we've found going with 7mm and 15mm to be about right in most cases. 18mm's maybe for lowered cars.

I have the sharkwerks 15mm / 7mm spacers - subtle but noticeable/more aggressive look.

Couple of questions. I know the movement is relatively small, but does it cause the tires to kick up more road dirt and stones to the fenders? Any significant impact on using the car on the track? I would think track handling would be slightly improved.

Removing and installing lug bolts is just the same as changing a tire...the bolts are just longer.

You bet:P These kits actually include a nice locating pin/bolt if you will.. it makes it easier/safer that way too.

I'd not really thought about road dust but as long as you're staying behind the fender I don't see a change there... Most race cars on any given weekend will sport spacers if you look closely so that'd be a no Widening the track can change things sure.

What would be a good fitment for porsche sport design wheels on a narrow body?

Conservative fitment 7m rear and front.
More aggressive and what we use is 7mm front and 15mm rear.
