I've used this, it's within .2 PSI, but it is $100+ less....choices!

I drive mostly on the curvy back roads that are the foothills of the Cascades in western Washington State. I guess I am mostly interested in dialing in my tires for more even wear. I tend to only measure them in the garage before I take off so the temperature is truly a constant "cold" reading. I've noticed that merely parking in the sun will drive up the pressures on the sun side by 2-3 pounds.
With all that said, I have an opportunity to pick up a Longacre gauge for a good price, which I think I'll take advantage of.
Thank you all for your experience and guidance. You confirmed my own thinking.

Are you serious? I just can't imagine someone buying a $100K+ car and then ignoring the single most important handling item by entrusting it to a $0.99 toy gauge.
How much does a set of tires cost? If you could get 10% more wear life out of a set by using a better gauge, wouldn't it make sense? If you could improve your car's handling by 10%? Fuel mileage?
You don't need 0.1% accuracy for the street, but those "stick" gauges are a joke, and really aren't appropriate for anything other than an emergency safety check.
