Tokyo is a really cool place and remains to be my most favourite city! And yes, the Kowloon Walled City had been torn down quite some time ago, before I even got the chance to see it.

Hi Frank-nice to see another owner in Shanghai. Quick question - is there a Porsche club here?i bought my 997.2 C2S at the puxi Jebsen dealer-they didn't seem to know whether a club existed.

 

Hey puxi997, congrats on your purchase. I don't think there's one. There are super car clubs, though, and 911s are accepted. Be careful as members are really, really young. Not the typical Porsche Owner Club you see around the world!

 

Thanks. We should organize something. I know of two other 997 owners; we all work in the Jing An area.

 

There are several others from HK on the Rennlist--within the 993 forum, however.

 

Hi puxi997, also nice to meet you on the forum - as far as I know no (active) Porsche club in Shanghai. I live in Jiading New City and drive a 2011 platinum silver 997.2 Targa 4S (bought Porsche Pudong) in my free time, who knows maybe we run into each other somewhere in Shanghai one day

 

Would be great to meet up some time. I'm in Jing An. I have a 2011 white carrera s with PDK. Used to have the carrera S stickers (cursive lettering) on the side but I had the puxi dealer on Nanjing Lu peel them off. Have you taken your 911 onto the F1 track? I know of a few other 911 owners (expats) - am thinking of getting a group together to hit the track!
