Noooo, don't try Paul's suggestion, that's going to hurt performance and handling! Alignment check is fine, but stick to what Porsche recommends. The tire wear you're seeing is normal.
Look at it this way: you spent all this money on a 911 because it's a 911, why would you spec out tires and alignment that make it drive like a prius? If you want long-life tires, get a Prius. Get good tires (some fantastic 200 & 300TW tires out there), get a good alignment and DRIVE. You're not likely to wear out the outside corner on the street, though; if you do, you're driving WAY too hard to be safe- you definitely need to be hitting the track/autocross to really learn how to get the most out of your car.

+1 The only time I see any noticable wear on the outside of my tires was after a few successive track days.
Im feeling its all the hiway miles car has done. Hiway miles is cruising miles which could be a reason forthe inner thread wear. Just high speed runs. I actually noyiced the threads after a crazy braking procedure when a truck swerved into my lane while i was travelling 200kph. Braking was awesome but i did notice inner tire thread cords showing after that when i parked the car. Will heavy braking also wear the inside of the rear tires?
