Dectane rear LEDs - check left rear brake light error
I installed the Dectane rear LEDs and they worked fine for over a year. I did not install the resistors. I started to get a random check left rear brake light error message and now I get it all the time.
A few months back I did a quick attempt to install the resistors but was unsuccessful since I could not figure out where to install them and make them fit since they seem rather large.
A few questions - will the resistors get rid of the error message ( have people had success with this) and does anyone have pictures or a how-to do the installation?

If you have the correct resistor box it's just plug-n-play. There's an open connector on the taillight which plugs into the pigtail on the resistor box and the box is small enough to stick to the sheet metal with some double sided tape. Here's an install video of the entire assembly.
Thanks jhbrennan - For some reason I was thinking it was an in-line resistor set up like the Rottec fronts. It looks like there was only one spot to connect the resistors so I can't mess it up too badly. I put in the resistors and will see if that fixes the issue.
