Could you comment a bit on the springs and their ride? I have been on the fence about installing a set. I love the look but scraping everywhere (aerokit car) and ride quality are my deterrents.
I actually can't remember the last car I've owned that hadn't been lowered so that and the fact I only owned the car a week before I added the springs means I'm probably not the best qualified to comment. I had read reviews on the H&Rs here on the forums before I fitted them and I will say I don't agree with comments about it becoming harsh. I really didn't feel much difference. As for scraping, it's all about angles in and out of driveways etc. no scraping for me yet but not sure how much difference the aero kit will make to ground clearance. Sorry I couldn't be more detailed but I say go for it!
I had the clear bra installed today. I would add pics but you can't see it. Nice!
Cheers,
Pip.

Sorry I'm new, but what exactly is an X51 and how do you get it?

From what I've learned, x51 is a package that porsche offered for $16,900 that added an additional 26hp and a few more torques to the Carrera S with higher spec heads, cam, intake, exhaust, ECU, carbon air box and a few other bits I'm sure I'm forgetting.
It can also be pieced together after purchasing the car but I think due to the cost, most people opted not to add it to the list of options when they ordered their cars. I'm lucky that the original owner did order it but even he admitted that he should have just spent a little extra for the turbo instead of buying a $130k Carrera S!

Very nice ride and awesome job on getting the X51 package. I never got around to playing on Palomar while I lived in SoCal (Redlands). Heard some jerk poured oil in one of the corners a few years back to try and make the motorcyclist crash. Be careful out there.

Gotta love GT Silver, I think it's my fave color of the current range (hence why I bought mine LOL). Super jealous about the X51 and love those Turbo wheels. Awesome car, congrats!

GLWTS, you may want to start a new thread so that more see that your beautiful car is for sale.

Yes, that's a good question and I really don't know the answer as I've not seen any other factory x51 cars for sale, only cars with some of the package added later. Maybe someone knows?
