Armorall on Dash?

Armorall on Dash?
What do you guys use on your dash and other interior plastic parts? I did a search of the site and found someone with a 997TT that spent time de-armoralling his new car. Am I missing something or is Armorall ok? Also looking to use something on the outside on the large piece of plastic just below the windshield wipers and above the hood. Thoughts?

Lexol Vinylex
I'd rate Lexol and 303 up there way over Armor All. Armor All tends to be very greasy and oily. Lexol or 303 are more protectants, water based, that give a very non-shiny matte finish to plastic.

The concours guys like Griots. And their lineup is now available over the counter at Advance Auto Parts.
If guys who use Q-tips on their cars give the brand their blessing then I'm sure its not staining or causing premature fading.

303.
Vinylex is also very good. If it's not painted, leather, glass, carpet or fabric, I 303 it.

I used Vinylex the past 5 plus years, I just recently used Zaino. The Zaino Leather Conditioner claims it works on Vinyl as well. I just did it this past week so I do not have feedback.
I will tell you I love the Vinylex and if I do not like the Zaino I will go back to it.

TIP: If you don't like the slight satin sheen left behind by Z10, just do a final wipe down with a dry cloth., and it will dull up. It will ultimately dull up and become a nice rich finish, but if you're in a hurry, you can speed up the process.

Okay-This stuff works BEAUTIFULLY to restore the cowl you made reference to in the OP.
I was trying to purchase a replacement cowl because mine had sat out in the sun for a long time, and was completely faded. Someone on this (or another) forum suggested I look into Back to Black. It works amazingly well.
My detailer did warn me that it has an oily base and that it could possibly streak the paint after a heavy rain, but since mine is a garage queen, he recommended it also. So there you go...

Zaino Z10 is excellent. Smells good too.
