So in the last week, my radio stopped working. The reception is almost completely non-existent, except for short periods of time. I haven't made any changes to the car at all recently. I have a 997.1, '06 C4S. Bose system, with changer but no nav. any thoughts before i take it to the dealer?

When you say it stopped working, do you mean you have poor reception but the PCM screen is still on and active? Do you SEE the station info?
Sounds like an antenna wire is loose if so. Easy fix.
Otherwise, if nothing there at all, check fuses and optical connections (orange cables behind PCM and in front trunk).
Probably obvious, I know. Hope it gets fixed quickly.

the system works, everything is on, CD changer works, I just get no reception most of the time, but sometimes it will come in very clear for a minute or two, or will come and go every few seconds. when you say antenna wire, you mean the wire going into the stereo unit? is it possible it has worked itself loose, even if everything is completely stock and has likely not been removed ever?
