Going for yearly service tomorrow-CAI
They are picking up my car and dropping off my loaner from the office in the morning. I installed a K & N CAI since my last visit. Car is CPO. Should I put the stock box back on just in case or leave the CAI in.
Anyone have experience with this sort of thing. Don't want anything on my "Permanent Record"
Thanks

My local dealer in CA said it wasn't an issue but my question to them was about installing it and then bringing it in for service. May be a different answer from dealer to dealer though.

When you drive the car to the dealer, and after the car has warmed up, see if you notice the low end torque improvement with the OEM air box reinstalled.

I drove it to work and I miss a bit of the sound the CAI makes. Otherwise I didn't feel much of a difference. Will update when I get my car back
