Default New here. Just a few pics and an introduction

2009 Carrera S.

Sharkwerks Bypass and just recently got the wheels. Thrilled to death with the way the wheels turned out. Rear tires are a little too stretched for my liking. Don't get me wrong, I wanted a slightly non traditional look for the rear but this is just a tad more than I was looking for, however at this point, the correct size is not available in the same tire so I am just going to wear this set out and then replace them with the proper size next time.

I am sure it is not everyone's cup of tea in terms of tires but the wheels came out pretty hot IMHO.

Rotiform's built to spec.

20x12 rears and 20x9 fronts. Matte black powder coated centers with gloss black powder coated barrels. They did a fantastic job as they are gorgeously finished.

295-25-20rr and 245-30-20fr Pilot Super Sports.

Next time I will be going to a 305-25-20 for a more proper fitment but for now....

Thanks all. This is my first Porsche. VW's in my teens and 20's, Audi's in my 30's and here I am in my 40's. Good natural progression.

I was actually going to order an RS5 that would be a fun car as well as be able to throw the kids in but decided to roll with the Porsche and get a Jeep Wrangler for DD duties and kid hauling.

So far so good. Loving this car.

295 on 12's, that is a bit of a stretch, 325 is actually the best size for 12" width tires but that size is very hard to find and you only have two choices, Continental or Michellin. Congrats on your new Porsche.

Yeah, I think 305's will be the look I am going for, unfortunately not available at this time from Michelin.

I suggest you consider something more than 305 for your rears before you purchase. Those are 12" wheels brother. Ynot is right that 325 might be more a fit 305 s wll still look stretched. But i have to agree nice car and nice wheels too. Dont drive too spiritedly you might unbead those rears.
