Nice! I am correct w/ the pricing, it's over $3k just to buy it primed?

Not really, I had included a link to the Getty Design webpage
the base wing is $1.1k
the CF wing is an additional $400
I actually got lucky, I found the CF version for $500 on eBay

I paid $500 to get it primed and painted. (but bear in mind that I only got the base painted)

$1100 plus $500 for paint. Installed in one hour taking my time.

DOH! missed the link, thanks! Still on the fence though, because I think part of the allure of the 911 is the self deploying rear wing. I was hoping to have a nice alternative, without losing that.

I have the same getty wing, it was $1100, plus whatever a paint shop will charge you for painting ($350 in my case) so all in it was around $1400

So im almost pretty set on the Getty pedestal just not sure of the carbon fiber one. to those who have the Getty pedestal with carbon fiber, does the clear coat/laminate hold up well after time? Looking at one of Hatzenbach's pics, I can't tell if its light reflection or oxidation/peeling on the corner edge of the carbon fiber piece..

There's very little peeling. But as I bought it on eBay I don't know how old it really is

I'd go w/the ducktail. Might as well get the SC Fuchs, too.

What about Turbo wing? Is that easy to retrofit?

I like the Misha design ducktail and the fact it is a drop in to replace the pop up. My one concern is with the grills and water getting in the engine. What say you that have this ducktail?
