A BIG THANKS to rennlist member Ten Years for recommending me to change the Carrera script from a modern one to one that matches the Duck Tail - the script from the 70's. So here is the final rear end view of my '73 RS Tribute - originally a MY10 C2 w/manual trans and sport bucket. Hope you all will enjoy it!

^^^^^ Car looks Sic!!! Were you going to "RS" clone it with the sport classic's and the ducktail?
That s what i was gonna do to mine, but while rims and lowering are going to happen, i'm having second thoughts with the sport classics after seeing some HRE's i like. I have a set of Forgelines on my Camaro, and they are a GREAT wheel, soo???....hmmmm, decisions decisions.....

mickfluff - thank you! I'me waiting for the weather to get better before giving her a wash and wax and then a quick photo-session before posting back in here. But here is a quick front quarter view taken a while back.

mikes70 - I've always loved the old RS's so when this car became available, I took the chance with the mods after I found the right duck tail with the correct shape and intakes as well as the new bonnet with that "A/C intake". Then came the FUCHs style rims and blacked out decals on the sides, headlights and tail to attain the look I wanted. The Sport Classic is nice but the rear bumper vents, and of course, the price did not agree with me.
But with the rims, agree that its not an easy choice especially with so many other great rims on the market nowadays. Good luck with your mods and, most importantly, have fun with it!

Not sure if your post was for the sweet white rsr tribute 997 car or for me as I was going to go ducktail air cooled tribute style when I first got the car. To be honest still may by getting a ghetty duck and some other wheels.
That said, when the car came in I really liked that aero set up more and more and wing so was less in a rush to swap it out. So my goal (as I plan to keep the car for some time) is to have a Champion like theme Porsche (wheels, f77 etc) Aero car set up as seen in the pic and then also have a second set of wheels (Fuchs likely by Rotiform) and a ghetty duck that I can swap out between the two looks. One car with two different styles to go back and forth to over the years...
These are the Fuchs style I would likely go with...
