here you go SPDR.

make sure you mask all surrounding areas with painters tape so you dont accidently sand the bumper (if you leave the LEDs on the car). i used a private label kit (contained everythign that the 3M kit did).

all you really need is 800/1000/2000 grit sandpaper (lower grit if you have BAD scratches... which is what i had)... once all hazing/scratches are removed with final sanding of 2000 grit; instead of headlight polisher you can use basic toothpaste. it works just the same.

This time I used Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel. Sometimes I use Meguiar's Hot Shine.

Tip: let the tires dry overnight before applying any tire dressing.

Here's my new ride. Just picked her up this past weekend. 2011 Carrera S, White over Black, 6 spd, Heated/Ventilated Seat, XM, Nav, Memory Seats, Werks Airbox, GIAC custom tune, & TUBI SS exhaust. She sounds and runs amazingly well. This is my third Porsche and second 911. I previously owned a 1989 25th Anniversary Edition 911 Carrera coupe, black satin metallic with linen leather...I miss that car.

Congratulations!!!

While you will always miss the '89 Carerra, I can assure you that you will get that stupid smile just as frequently with the 997.2S as you did with the black beauty.

You will be amazed at how capable, fun and comfortable the 997.2 is AND how familiar it is to your old Carerra.

Enjoy the learning curve and don't lift!
