These are all I have handy. There is a slew of new parts on the way for this car.

Though not a great environment to take pictures., here is my (new to me) Targa 4S PDK, and the car it is replacing. While the RX-8 doesn't have anywhere near the power of the 911, after having to go back to the RX-8 for a few weeks after my new car's transport plate lapsed, I was pleasantly surprised how fun the the old car (6 speed) was to drive and how well it handled. Wish I could keep both, but I'm looking forward to really getting to know the 4S once I can drive it again.
I actually believe a good amount of RX-8 drivers graduate to a 911 as their next car (both being the same size and having 4 seats)
In many way I feel the RX-8 and specifically the 997 Targa version of the 911 both exhibit form follows function as far as the styling. The RX-8 had to compromise its design cues to incorporate the rear suicide doors and I feel the Targa roof line is very similar in the sense that it's a compromise on the coupe's sexy rear roofline. My point being both are a welcome trade off (for me anyway) for the added versatility.
I did have to warn friends the last very time they were to be in the back seats of the RX-8 that it would feel like a limousine compared to the rear seats of the new car I was getting.
