Ok, may I repeat my question... in Farfel's lovely collection on the previous page, I spotted this pic.

Now, is it an aftermarket bumper (and who sell it) or a simple GT2RS added to a TT...

I am beginning to like it, and my beauty could do with a touch of improvement at the front...
particularly as it would be complimented by the white.

The Brown 997 is a TT w a Rennline smile added.
The Blue C4S Targa, I changed the bumper to a used TT bumper w lights and a Rennline smile. On the TT bumper, its only the lights that are very expensive,try to buy a bumper thatsalready complete.

A Rennline smile... sounds lovely.

So do you buy just the "smile" and have your bumper cut out to accommodate it ?
Or is it an "all together buy, bumper + smile" ?

^^ im pretty sure its an oem gts/sport classic bumper... it can be purchased at suncoast parts around 2800$ i believe.

We may not be speaking about the same thing, here, myw...

I was (no, I am ) referring to the bumper of the brown Turbo 2 or 3 posts before. The one with the "smile" vent at the top of the bumper, which unless I am mistaken was only ever seen on the GT3 and the GT2RS.

I am considering it for mine...

ahhh yes now i understand. the brown one is a oem turbo bumper with the gt3 upper air grille. its about 40$ from suncoast.

Why thanks... so all you buy is the grille and you cut your bumper to fit it? Scares me just to think about it... but I like the look.

So what are the rules for this thread? Can I post another picture of the same car, or do I have to go buy another 997 if I want to post another picture?

Here goes...same car as post #28, this time with some fall color (which ain't that easy to find down here...). Cobalt blue '08 C2S. I got the colored crests for the wheels since the last picture, so I'll use that as justification for posting a second one.
