Best way to use iPhone to send sound to PCM2.1
even in my Smart, i have 3.5mm miniplug and i send my Pandora to speakers...
curious what the best option (please no FM modulators) to get sound from phone to PCM 2.1? or is FM modulation the only way? (i saw the factory "aux" setup is FM modulated)
i have 6CD changer, figured their might be a way to disconnect and then use that input somehow?

07 w/ NAV btw. and 6CD

typical solution is to ditch cd changer and instead you put in mobridge or similar unit that pretends to be cd changer but has ipod/iphone connectivity and Bluetooth.

I had moBridge in my 07 4S and it worked very well. Best bluetooth system I've used in any car to date. The installation took several hours at my Porsche dealer, so it was expensive. I think they mounted it behind the PCM somewhere.

Really? Mine works great (at least it has on both occasions when I actually used it). As I listen to the engine, rather than the stereo or my iPod, the Denison unit was a waste of money...but I didn't know that going in. Just wanted to be able to listen to my iPod (seemed like a good idea when I bought the car).
