Default 991 20-inch wheels compatible with 997 narrow body?

Morning,

Has anyone successfully replaced their OEM 19 inch wheels with OEM 991 20 inch wheels and tires?

Spacers needed...any issues with rubbing...toe in, etc on narrow body cars?

Thanks for your help as always!

Local dealer informed me that they would fit a 997.2 no problem. Ride and handling may be compromised. Also you have to use the existing 19" tire sensors for the new 20" wheels.

Don't know. I'd call your local P dealer.

I put a set of 20's on my 997.1 lowered with eibach, had to put 235/30/20 tires on the front, and the rears took 295/30/20 off the 991, the fronts came with 245/35/20... for the 991 but those tires hit the spring plate, so now I have them for sale, quite the deal, but I am in Europe, if someone has a connect for shipping I could make you a sceamin deal... beautiful wheels, but I am going to 18's and the 'ring'...

Yes you can but you will need coilover springs up front to stop rubbing on springs hat or 5mm to 7mm spacer

Yes, they fit.

Look at wheel threads for specs and an offset and width that you would like aesthetically.

Then place the other wheels in a comparison calculator (willtheyfit.com or tiresize.com/calculator) to see how much poke or sunk the other setup is, then adjust camber or spacers accordingly.

Having said that 20” wheels are big and heavy, plus it will ride worse than 19” wheels.
