So my neighbors think i'm crazy.......
added the bike, and got nothing but hate...
anyone else here with me on the rack or i should just mount it on the smart instead?.. literally had 5 neighbors come ask me if i was feeling ok and why the hell I put a bike on my car. LOL (posted on 997 versus TT forum because i'm hoping you guys will be a lil more lenient haha)

****Extra pic i took at one of our local parks that have about 10 miles of riding roads..., i love the rack!*****

Why the hell did you do that?
j/k. There is nothing wrong with it, it looks cool, you don't see that everyday. My neighbors think I've lost it too when I brought out the leaf blower to dry the car.

I kind of agree with the neighbors....
Actually - you should be careful. I know of some folks with roof mounts that have done major damage to their cars when entering garages and forgetting about the bike on top. I would recommend a trailer hitch, but then you would be calling me crazy~~!

i'm very quiet about my stuff, and rarely have anyone comment or mention anything where i live.... there are far bigger fish here to admire and gossip about.. i just felt it funny how i can go from getting a comment once every 6 months to having neighbors come to me and say "what the hell".... i guess they are car purists and i didn't even know. lol.

Race Car
It must really screw up the aerodynamics of the car but
tell em it's your way of wind tunnel testing for the Tour de France.
I think you should put a canoe up there instead and see what the neighbors do then.

Drifting
Is that the new TT Hybrid. Bike n car color combo looks tasteful... but I have to admit that my wife rolled her eyes when I've indicated that Porsche has a bike rack for our car. I think it's a fine concept. As others have mentioned... just stay clear off parking garages. One of my friends damaged two bikes and the roof line of his Quattro years ago parking his car in a hotel parking structure. Put an early end to his vacation with wifey.
BTW. +1 re the leaf blower but let us know what you neighbors think of that. Some of my neighbors have asked if I plan on drilling in the back yard for oil as well. "Just using the right tool for the job."

Three Wheelin'
If you need to move your bike from Point A to Point B, and don't have a second, more suitable vehicle, why would you care what others think. (Of course if you have a sedan or SUV, then a roof rack or trailer hitch on a 911 is just showing off - which I suppose is your right as well.)
Two pieces of advice. First, If your seat backs are painted (and even if they aren't) get wheel bag for the wheel you are stowing - it will move around and leave dirt/ grease residue on the carpet and scratch the paint/finish. Second, get a bike bra, which is a nylon cover that stretches to cover the forks, bars and saddle. It will protect the front of your bike from bug splatter.
