I personally love the look of the roof rack on top of the P-cars. Just tell them it's for when the car breaks down and you need means of transportation.

If i was going to go cycling, I'd be driving the car i want to drive (not the "backup" car). Of course I put a christmas tree (wrapped in plastic) on the top of my 911. It was a much more special experience than taking the beater.

I am guilty of putting a bike on top of mine as well. Some of the best drives are to the trailheads.

anyone else here with me on the rack or i should just mount it on the smart instead?.. literally had 5 neighbors come ask me if i was feeling ok and why the hell I put a bike on my car. LOL (posted on 997 versus TT forum because i'm hoping you guys will be a lil more lenient haha)

Perfectly fine. People other than you should STFU because its not their car. Use it as utilitarian as you want. The bike itself is a bit too white for my tastes but whats wrong with it?

the hoops on bike wheels are satin bronze.. and other parts.. tires are white and spoke and frame... i like white... but it has it's accents as well.

the picture is oversaturated because all the white.. can't see the satin bronze parts of bike.

I am surprised the neighbors gave you hard time about it. You should have told them to check out your watch.

I'm right there with you Riley. I get comments from both sides. Usually the riders at the group rides I participate in think it's pretty cool. A few people (even with the bike off -just rack) have made weird comments. I could care less.

It's my daily driver. Porsches and bikes are near and dear to me. So why wouldn't I have a roof rack? This pic is from a 1,700 mile round trip to a Tri in Galveston a couple years ago. The rack moved right over to the 997.2 and is on the car as I type this out.

Yes. Drive the car, cross utilize it with bikes, skis. I put my bikes on mine en route to crush souls at bike races. Enjoy.

Leaf Blower for the win....remember if gas powered make sure the exhaust doesn't vent into the leaf blower tube where the air comes out. I use a battery leaf blower.

If you are going somewhere to go biking then that is a great and safe way to transport. Please don't tell me you are just riding around Tampa everyday with the bike up there. LOL...oh you need an all white watch too. See ya soon!
