Default Iphone Mount

Looking for suggestions for an iphone mount and best place to mount. Sick of laying it in the lower center console!

I keep it in my pocket and let the blue tooth do the work. Love it.

I built this last week using abs and an iphone extender....plugs in and out easy but it still takes up room in console...the next gen version I make will be smaller, hopefully small enough to fit in the batwing.

This one is great unless you need the iPhones video recording capabilities. I use this one accept at the track.

Are you guys using these at the track for video purposes or just to keep your phone mounted up there?

I use it in conjunction with the app " Harry's Lap Timer". I use a gopoint port transmitter to relay the cars data as an overlay onto the video. It has several tracks stored via gps data and once you tell into go it stays in pause until you cross the start point. It's pretty cool.

Someone told me that you can sync it to go pro cameras as well but I didn't know anything about that.

I use a KENU Airframe. Super small. Works great both horizontal and vertical. Clips into the air vent and stays no matter what. I have the dension so I was able to get the cable right next to it so when I am using my GPS app on my Iphone 4 it talks through my speakers while allowing me to view the screen.
No affiliation. I happen to buy cell accs and tools for a major retailer and this is the slickest, smallest mount I have ever found that actually works.

I really like this one. It suction cups to the front window and is a lot more streamlined (and less intrusive) than other ones I have seen.

I have an iphone 5 and Motorola Droid both mounted to a pro-clip angled mount with a vertical extension plate and highly recommend it. I'll post a picture at some point. At the track I plan to run Torque on the Droid to monitor coolant and intake temps (requires a bluetooth OBD II reader) and run Harry's Lap Timer on the iphone 5.

I've also got 2 iphone RAM mounts on order to have a second setup for recording video. I'm using the iphone 5 as my main camera with an old iphone 3GS setup as a second camera running Harry's multi-cam. You can actually control record start/stop on both phones with the phone running HLT, then HLT will combine the videos for you (Harry's Lap Timer Grand Prix edition only I believe).

I would note that if you order the RAM mounts people tend to recommend the metal "RAM" part numbers as opposed to the composite "RAP" part numbers.

For daily driving I think the Proclip is a better option and plan to only use the RAM mounts at the track.
