Default Where to hook up illumination wire

I am installing a new head unit, and I can't figure out where to hook up the illumination wire. I"m not doing the parking or break light hook up as I bought a bypass thing but I will need the illumination in order for the unit to dim automatically when I turn on my lights.

any ideas?

I'm not sure this helps but on a 996 it's in position 6 of the harness (position 6).

If renntech fixes the jpeg file upload issue, I'd post a pic of the diagram

Hmm...that would be too easy if it is already on the harness! I'll look, thanks! I got a kit from eurospeed that has it behind a seat, which is not something I'm seeing in my car.

Give Eurospeed a call, they are excellent and will help you anyway they can.

I agree with LI911, Loi at Euromotorspeed is awesome to work with - he will sort out your questions quickly
