So let us know when you've forgotten to put it back and it bounces off the windscreen as you go down the road. I'm just saying, I appreciate the tethered all plastic one... I'm that forgetful

Thank god for OCD. I never forget to put it back. I was almost done to make a "L" shape retainer where you could "hook" the cap on the opened fuel door.

That thing is beautiful...but, "PETROLEUM" covers gas, oil, grease, etc. Is it also available without the label?

I know I can look it up, but there should be a forum policy that when you show your new mod you answer the simple questions that everyone wants to know; "What did it cost?"

Petroleum is what Europeans called gas, not oil, not grease, etc. Porsche is a German car so it makes sense that the label is Petroleum. Personally I like it, prefer that over gas.

'Benzin' is what I'd expect if it was German. Petrol in the UK. Good tank country anywhere else in Europe.

The problem I see, is that owners with OCD will be stressing to make sure the word "Petroleum" is perfectly horizontal after a fill-up.

Yes... perfectly horizontal is the correct position. Drives me nuts how the safety inspection people over torque it once a year. LOL.
