Hi guys , working on a friends car 2007 Carrera S wondering if anyone knows what the code U0005 is? Any help pointing me to right direction would be greatly appreciated .

it says "High Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) High" but i'm not sure what that means. is it giving you trouble/car not running right? or did the code reader just happen to spit out this among others? i ask because there are some codes that are merely warnings/info and dont necessarily affect the car or have to be fixed or cleared.

It's a friends car looking at it for him. Have airbag light on won't erase . It's a hardcode. But not giving me airbag code just u005. Will look at it more later and try to figure it out .

You cannot erase or see airbag codes if you are not using a durametric tool (or the porsche dealership tool). If you are using one ignore my statement entirely. Good luck.

airbag light on dash? or airbag light on center console? when i swapped seats to GT2's i could clear the dash light but had to turn off the AWS system to clear the one on the ctr console. my bud switched his seats to racing buckets and his steering wheel to a quick release - i was NOT able to clear his dash light no matter what coding i did (turning off all airbags in the car, turning off sensors, etc). some of the airbag warnings can be a PITA...
