Default Priceless Lamborghini Miura Burns

This sucks! I hate seeing any classic car get destroyed. I still dont know why some people dont keep a fire extinguisher in there vintage/classic/exotic cars.

It's sad to see that someone can spend all that time filming it, but can't go run for an extinguisher in less time.

Another reason I keep one in my cars.

Although car-bq's can happen to any car, what is it about Italian super cars & fires?

If it is anything like the F430 that I owned, it is a poor design, even more poorly executed. You have two saddle tanks just behind the cabin bulkhead, just forward and outboard of the red hot exhaust manifolds. With the tanks connected together to transfer fuel, and the fuel lines to the engine tightly packaged, what could possibly go wrong?

Almost 50 year old transverse V12 and transaxle packed into the back end of that car - amazed more don't burn!
Hope he didn't skimp on insurance.

Again! One burned down on the highway here in Switzerland 2-3 years back. Yellow too.

Driving a mid engine Italian supercar without a fire extinguisher is asking for trouble. I recall Jay Leno telling a story about driving his Miura, smelling raw fuel, looking back, and seeing it spraying on the rear windscreen. Add that mid engine heat disbursement (or lack thereof), and here we are.
