Hi all,
Has anyone used 305 wide rear tires on the narrow body C2 cars without fitment or rubbing issues? I am looking to get a second set of wheels/tires, and find quite a variation in the aftermarket wheel specs.
If so, could you share what tires/wheel combination works? I am especially interested in the wheel width and offset(s) used. Also, please state if any wheel spacers were used.
Thanks,
Sanjeev

Sanjeev,
Are you looking to have a custom set of wheels fit to your Porsche? If so Please consider Fikse wheels.
I think the reason you find a variety of aftermarket wheel fitments for your Porsche is because in 19" Porsche offered 11", 11.5" and 12" wide wheels for the narrow body 997. The 12" wide wheel was used with and without spacers for US and other markets.
This range of wheel dimensions gives leeway for a range of offsets and wheel sizes in the aftermarket. Some wheel companies do not have the ability to build wheels to order the way we do, so they will offer something from within their abilities.
Please call or email if you would like to get more specific about wheels for your 997 C2
