Improving performance
So...I have a 2006 C4 cab with PSE...and it's just slow...I'm in CA and need to be able to pass smog...
What mods are recommended that can improve performance (keeping PSE)?
Thanks.

Improve driving skill level (yes, we all can/should). Join your local PCA and do DE's and/or Autocross events.
Sell it, and buy the "S".

Thanks Lex...
I was referring to the car and not my ability to influence it...but agree we can always improve.
I've toyed with the idea of selling it and upgrading to +2009 C4S (cab or coupe)...frankly, all that I've looked at have not been in a good of shape as mine...or were too highly priced...
So...thought I'd consider some improvements that could get me 80% there...

Kevin, I don't think that the various tuning efforts are worth the money. I have a 997.1 Cab and never have any issue with performance. The difference to the S is not too big. You would need to look at the 991 4S for a big jump. Maybe you just need to keep the revs up.

S is way worth the price of admission.....S should be standard
bigger wheels, bigger brakes, bigger motor / more HP - yeah baby
maybe look into getting your chip re-mapped
