Do you know how they are afixed to the bumper behind the slats on the 997.1? I didn't want to drill holes.

I have a 997.2, I know these are just clips, no drilling. I think I remember reading someone not drilling on the 997.1, they used Zip ties.

Anyone else with a 997.1 wnat to chime in?

Mine is a .2 only clips. I understand the holes are for the center grill, not certain though. Should get a response from the .1 guys.

I just installed on a 997.1. The directions required drilling for the center screen (two holes in the bottom). Also needed three screws for the top for the center screen. For the sides, one hole for each of the lower screens. The hole is drilled at the upper right corner of the opening.

The holes are for pins on the screens that fit in the hole.

I was nervous to do it... but I am happy with the result. I think zip ties would look much worse IMHO.

Sullivas: The screens do not "go behind the slats" on the sides. There are two small screens that are placed in each of the openings (one above and one below the slat).

Keep in mind... my car is a daily driver (2006 C2S with close to 40k miles on it)... so I am more willing to drill to secure a protective screen than others might be.

Installed mine last weekend. Really easy, no drilling required, snap on.

Just installed mine. I didn't like the look of the grilles in front of the air guides, so I decided to install them behind
Yes, you need to take the bumper off for that, took my two hours for the whole job.
BTW: If anyone needs a 15% off code here it is: ZU041510

I don't see the ZunSport logo on your grills that are shown on the website. Have you removed it, or is it an optional application?

As a not DIY guy, what do you think it would cost to have a body shop remove the bumper cover so that the grills could be installed behind the slats? I think the 3D look is better than mounted in front of the slats.

My basket, for the Outer and Front Grills using the discount code totaled 256.67 Pounds Sterling, or about $400 US. Did you order both the Front and Outer grill, and if so, what am I doing wrong to be spending $105 US more than you?

I did not get the logo either - actually don't see it any of the pictures.

Mine did not have the logo either. I think there is option to buy all together and that might save you money called the "front grill set" I believe it has all three. 225 pounds before discount.

Did you order one part number for all three parts, or did you order the center and sides under different part numbers (i.e., two items in your check out basket, or one)? Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification. Ordered! Interesting that the pricing for the GTS version is 27 pounds sterling cheaper.
