Andrew, is yours a 997.1 or 997.2? The Zunsport website does not say anything about these fitting 997.2.

On the sides, do the grills go in front of, or behind, the horizontal slats built into the OEM bumper?

The website instructions do not say anything about having to drill. According to them they clip to the opening. Why did you have to drill?

No drilling they clip on inside the opening and sit on the outside of the horizontal part of the opening.........outside the slats

Default Grills installed

Looking great - it was quite a battle to get the side ones in but after lengthy a battle my wife was able to snap them in (she has the patience - I do not. I would most likely end up breaking something...)

I am still trying to decide if I want to go with these, on the 997.1 they go behind the slats, I think that looks better. Although my slats are black so I probably will not be able to tell.

Ordered my set yesterday. Discount code still worked and the package is supposed to arrive tomorrow!!!
And now the question:
My car is meteor grey, I ordered the silver grilles (I will paint them anyway, so I went for the cheapest option)
How do you think an either red or orange center grille will look?

Contacted ZunSport and requested discount code, they sent it immediately, -15% , ordered black for my 2011 997.2 CAB yesterday. With discount and no VAT Set totaled about $295 US$ delivered.
