Default Turbo Tail wing --> Fixed Wing

Hello everyone! (my first real post!)
I am planning on removing the Turbo tail wing (electrically actuated tail) and switch to a fixed wing. Does anyone know if disconnecting the actuators will set fault codes on a 997.1 TT?)

Yes fitting a fixed wing even removing the actuators or replacing the wiring loom the fault will be logged and flash up on the dash display as "spoiler control failure". Easy to fix just have the rear control recoded for fixed rear wing 5 minute job with Porsche diagnostic tool. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much.
I am glad that I asked. Now I need to find someone "friendly" in the area to get this reprogrammed for me as soon as I have the new tail prepared.
