Wow, how time flies. Since my post 11 years ago, I sold my 997 and bought the newly released Macan S in 2014. After a year, as much as I liked the Macan, I missed having a 911. So I bit the bullet in 2015 and picked up a 96 C4S as a play car rather than as a daily driver that I used my 997 for. Loved the 993, but reached a point in my life when it was time to downsize, partly because of garage space limitations. When prices went crazy in 2021 I pulled the trigger and let go of the 993. I'm in my late 70's now, and have learned that I can love and appreciate many cars without having to own them.
