'09 Bose system amp upgrade ??
Man, I looked everywhere.
Does anyone have information about upgrading the amplifier for the Bose system?
Yes, I am a tortured audio nerd and must upgrade that harsh sounding amp. Any information on pinout etc.?

The lousy sound quality isn't really because of the Bose amp. It's mostly from the dirt-cheap loudspeakers, with a smaller component being the amp and the PCM source. In fact, the only reason your stereo doesn't sound even worse is because the Bose amp includes some basic equalization to correct the sound of the speakers inside the car. If you replace it with anything else, it'll sound even worse.
If you want to improve the sound quality, you'll need to upgrade the speakers, which necessarily involves an amp replacement, +/- a new head unit. Adding a processor or EQ would be even better.
