Default Stone Guards / Rock Guards

Precision Autowerks is now cutting new Stone Guards/Rock Guards in both the 8mil and 12mil thick Clear Paint Protection film. While the 8mil Stone Guards offer great protection, you may want to opt for the 12mil Stone Guards if you AutoX or Track your car! It offers great protection from those orange cones!

Matte Black Vinyl overlays are also available!

Can you elaborate on the cost? Also, how does it install and how tough is to remove if one desires to do so sometime in the future?

Curious about price as well. Also, are these the same pattern as stock?

Are you cutting two sizes? One size for the 2WD cars and another (larger) for the AWD cars?

Just cut the 12mil thick stoneguards. They are not on the website yet. The 8mil are $50...the 12mil $85. Available in 997,996,993. Wide body 993 will be available next week.

I have clear stone guards on my '07 Targa. If I order your's in Black, do I have to remove the clear ones or can I install them right over the clear ones??

Thanks

I'd recommend removing the old ones. It's very easy.
IMO stacking them will be VERY difiicult allowing them to look less than optimal post installation. Lining up the edges, assuming they're of equal size/shape, will be next to impossible. Plus, they have an adhesive backing. You'd want them on a pristine surface. The paint below your originals should be excellent barring any significant stone impacts.
I just peeled the old ones off the car. The installation can be a bit tricky especially at the transition to the rocker panels due to the outward curve.
