new photo
JoAnne-- I just posted the following photo on the 993 Forum; now I see you've got fans here, too
New pic of your jet
I know Kelly Shipp's talent launches beyond the stratosphere, but what are the basics of how an IR camera aids automotive photography?
I know it's used in fighter jets' missile technology to launch onto a heat source, & it worked: your 911 looks white-HOT

LOL!!! No fans here... I'm just the new kid on the block and I happen to wear pigtails once in a while.
Gee Jag ~ As you know my on line access is totally restricted at work and I barely have time to pick up the cell phone to talk to Robert, let alone check FB. THANKS for posting the newest picture for me (REALLY THANKS!). Kelly said they will be coming out Slooooowly since some of them can take 6 ours to work. Infrared photography is so cool, but if there is any 'red' involved, ya lose it..... He is tweaking some of the shots where there is red involved and we asked, where's the red <>
He had at least 3 different camera's with him at the shoot.I can ask him more about infrared photography for you. He's been messing with it since the 80's or 90's. You know about his 'famous' tree that Ron Howard used in the movie? It's also shot in infrared.

The photographer got permission and our two cars were the only ones allowed beyond the gates. Our friend had to leave his Boxster in the parking lot and walk in. It's a small airport and in the winter it's not used too much, although one Falcon jet (VERY COOL!) landed and another took off just before we were allowed to cross the runway that was being used on Saturday.
We did not get to drive too fast. We were being led to the location at the end of the runway. They stayed with us the entire time (which was not too long since it started to rain, BUT that was the look the photographer was wanting anyway) then they led us back to the terminal. When we got back to the terminal the owner of the Lear jet (and the prop, not sure what it was) gave us permission to shoot his plane(s) with our 997. At least we were out of the rain! Can't wait to see those pictures too.

Thank you.... It's was taken by the same photographer for the Women of Rennwish Calendar and was shot in our garage. The man can even make Shrek look good.
Here is one of the runway pictures he shot yesterday with an infrared camera. It's not quite finished yet (he has to add the reds back in) but I think it looks pretty great already.
Looks nearly like an abandoned runway! Remind me never to use it for an alternate...

The other runway was smooth as silk... and very used.
Here are a few pics of the interior I just snapped. Please excuse my photography. I am NO Kelly Shipp!
