Default Turbo wheels question

Friends,
I recently purchased a 09 carrera cab and just love the car. It was a lease return and has the 19" turbo wheels. My question is are all turbo wheels the same width? The reason i am asking is the rear tires are 275 wide and look too narrow for the rims. Will 305's fit on the rear considering the car is a NB.
I can't begin to say how much this forum has helped me
thanks all

paul.

The original tire size is 295/30/19. I have a friend that has 305's on 19" Classic OEM's and 7mm spacers on his NB 997.1 without any issues. His car is lowered 1.25" as well. Hope this helps...

the turbo wheel should be 19x11, check the stamp on the inside. 305/ 30 is the size that fits

305s or 295s on the 11 inch wheels will fit. 305s on 11.5" wheels.

Thanks for the info guy's. I tend to think the previous owner put the smaller size on the back to save a few $$$ considering he was handing the car back to the dealer.

Download the order guide and/or the tequipment guide which are loaded with info. 275 is too narrow as 295 was standard. Yes, 305's will fit if you must The Carrera sport wheels are 8.5 x 11.5 and were fitted with 305's in the rear. Maybe that's what you want?? Dave

1st of all, is this car a CPO? If so i would urge you to take the car back to the dealer and ask them to put on the standard tire size-295. Cant believe a P dealer would sell a car w/ the incorrect tire size.

Separately , yes 305 will fit with no problems.

295s with 7mm spacers in the rear look perfect. 305s are a great choice if you have the coin for the rubber.

Thanks for all the good info. I can't wait for winter to pass and get the car on the road once again. These cars are addictive!

There are Turbo wheels with a different rear offset for the wide body Turbo car and there are Turbo wheels with the correct offset for a narrow body car...ie Carrera. Bother rears are 11" wide...just different offsets
