That sub you built looked great, but I wanted to investigate a lighterweight fiberglass box and possibly a shallow depth 13" driver. But until I recover from engagement ring, wedding, honeymoon, buying this car, replacing kitchen appliances, and the cost of this car (all in one year) I have to keep it cheap

I'm sure we'll talk again soon. Thanks.
i am in negotiations to do a Dynaudio system with the shallow 13 JL Audio TW5 on a 991 if it works out it will be a kick *** box. I hope I hope I hope

I have a 987 Cayman with a GT3 front bumper. The current 997 lights on this car function fine without error codes. Do you think I can simply swap them out like you did in the video without any problem or error codes showing up?

Check the fuse panel Did the lights on both sides act the same way or just one side. on SOME convertibles the light is there but the bulb is a dead socket. does the stock T-10 work? make sure the black wire on the AFTermarket is lined up with the brown wire on the stock.

Did u check them at night?

We check every set before we ship and have had no issues reported to date.

If you bought them from me Email me and will get you a replacement set.

My new bumper installers were idiots. They did not try to reverse the connection.

Despite the length and passion of this young post (sheesh!), I'm still not clear how the brightness of the DRLs (AKA parking lights) compares with the new 991 DRLs. A side-by-side photo TAKEN IN DAYLIGHT would be very helpful here. The night shots that have been posted are not very helpful, especially when taken with a cell phone or small camera that results in the bright areas being blown out in the photos...it is impossible to assess brightness properly.

If they are sufficiently bright in daylight, I'd like to think the DRL module I currently use on my stock fog lights (with LED bulbs) could be wired to the center bar (parking light) of these lights. I would also expect that if the center bar is dimmer than the lower (fog) LED's (and therefore less desirable as a DRL), that the lower (fog) LEDs could be used as DRL's the way I do now.

for daytime the led white lower lights (fog) are the best....and there bright

a good photo is hard to get on my digital camera and i have not had time to do a side by side

so from testing the thin strip is not as good and the 997.2 uses led strip
