Default FVD Brombacher USA – 997.1 Motorsport Oil Pan - 25 % Off Introductory Special !!

We are very pleased to introduce our FVD Motorsort Oil Pan for the 997.1 (05-08)

We will be offering this oil pan for $ 446.00 until February 15th, 2013.

That is a savings of $ 148.75 (25% off) of our current $ 595.00 retail.

Here are more details about our latest offering:
Scavenging and aeration in the oil pan have been identified as a problem in the 996, 997 and Boxster models that experience high G-forces on the racetrack.

The ”FVD Motorsport” oil pan encorporates the baffling concept of the X51 oil pan and also increases the oil capacity. This pan adds close to 3/4 of quart (0.6 Liters) of oil over the original X51 pan. This allows for increased oil cooling and engine performance by preventing oil starvation and oil foaming. The ”FVD Motorsport” oil pan is also designed with external cooling fins which helps to lower the oil temperature.

It works on the following models: 986 & 987.1 Boxster/S, 987.1 Cayman/S, 996 and 997 models (excludes GT3 and turbocharged models).

To place an order, simply contact me directly via email or phone using the contact information below in my signature.

+1 Rhonda@FVD. Very knowledgeable about our cars and great to do business with.

Does this affect our existing warranty? Does this pain work for 997.1 S as well.

You can rest assure that your warranty will void if you put this bad boy on. USMC....you should get one since you've tricked your's out all ready. IPD, Exhaust, tune....this would really trick out your car. Did you do the WEVO's yet?

Yep... EVOM has been working nicely for some time now. I like the pretty cooling fins on this baffle. Seriously I need to understand impact to warranty. Some mods are more intrusive and require significant man hours to revert back to stock or impact my CPO as soon as the dealer notices. My FVD ECU flash, for example, takes 10 minutes to re-flash back to stock and the dealer has yet to notice it even when I leave it remapped. The EVOM CAI takes 30 minutes to swap out. The entire FVD exhaust system(headers, 200 cell cats, mufflers, tips).... well that would take 6 hours but that doesn't affect my engine warranty and I don't need Porsche to warrant the stock exhaust setting in the attic. The IPD plenum and GT3 TB don't seem to affect warranty and even the p-dealers pushes these. I know I'm on the edge but that's ok as long as I know the risk. This mod would be good if they start to let us use COTA here.

Thanks for the kind words. You would have to check with your dealer in that matter.

Just a note to let you know that we will also have a lower skid plate to protect the bottom of the motor with the lower pan in about 3 months or so.

That looks like the best pan design, I question if the pickup spacer is thick enough to lower the pickup to the optimum depth?

Oh boy....distributors hate it when the factory undercuts their price.

By prodriver, The pick up spacer has been properly designed for the correct depth, we can assure you of that.

Spokane5150, This is only an introductory offer in order to get the product out to support future sales.

Rhonda@FVD can you tell us the thickness of the pickup spacer & the distance from the bottom of the oil baffle to the oil passage windows?

That is fine and a proper marketing scheme. However, your distribution should be able offer the same price and be part of the market strategy. Just say'n.
