Default How low can you go?

Damn, it's cold outside!
What's the lowest dashboard temp readout we can find on a year-round Carrera?

Pics or it didn't happen... and no cheating! No pulling the cover on your bedded-down winter garage queen to get a reading. I'm looking for the real deal.

I'll start. This morning I drove my son to school and snapped this:

I'm SURE someone can get lower than that...

It's funny but yesterday in Philly driving my 997 atlas grey I got a 13 reading as well. Was going to take a pic but did not. Funny coincidence

No evidence, but saw high single digits yesterday morning in NY. The engine warmed up after some time, but WOW did the trans not like it! I totally gave up on 2nd gear and had to shift 1->3 as it just wasn't going in.

But great to see more year round drivers in the north east!

I had a few days of -20 in upstate New York many years ago. I had a BMW 325I and a Jaguar XJ6 and you could literally hear the metal parts of the engine groan and moan when cold until they got to operating temperature. The heater would not give out warm air for about the first 15-20 minutes of driving. BRRRRR. I'm so happy I live below the Mason Dixon line now!

I took this photo coming home over Loveland pass from skiing a few days ago in Colorado. My 997 is nicely tucked away till it's warm (although I did drive her about 50 miles a week ago). They may be capable in the cold/snow, but i'd rather drive other vehicles.

Figure I had to chime in to support my Atlas Grey brothers. So this morning it was 55 in Orlando. You don't know cold until you experience 55. All the women bundle up and dust off the ugg boots they get to wear twice a year and the hipsters with the single gear bikes wear beanies with their extra small tshirts. Good times. Supposed to be 75 on the way home
