In Singapore last week was $6.51 per gallon as a comparison, and was $3.37 in Malaysia the same week (12/30/2012).
Good find! That's got to be the lowest price in the US and World so far. We should have a p-car meet there... fill up on gas, get some BBQ, and hit the slopes.
sorry(for myself, actually, per gas prices), but i just have to put all this in perspective, the plus of unlimited speeds on the autobahn do not make it all worthwhile, it is ugly, actually, i just paid +/-$9.12 a gallon...

Gas prices on a downward trend? Cheapest in the area (although I am back in Singapore) is $2.59 today.

I read from an article in the local newspaper today according to a Lundberg Survey gas prices in the USA are on an upswing. 7 cents per gallon increase in the last 3 weeks. Regular now up to $3.32/gallon
Salt Lake City has the lowest average gas price: $3.04/gallon while Long Island New York the highest average gas price: $3.75/gallon.
I paid $3.799/gallon for 91 octane the other day here in sunny (but damn chilly) Livermore CA.
At this same station just a few weeks ago the price was $3.699/gallon. But that didn't last long. Seems like just a few days then the price was up to $3.719/gallon and then after jsut a few more days up to $3.799/gallon.

Wow... I believe that's the highest price listed so far and explains the 300+ Francs/Euros we spent on fuel during our 10 day rental car travels through Switzerland and Germany during the Xmas break. I tried not to pay attention while we were there... I do recall, however, telling my wife (our family account) euphemistically that the the per liter gas price was less than our per gallon price at only 1.89 Euros/liter. Of course, there's ~3.79 liters/gallons. You do the math.
