Default Rim Size Help!

Hey everyone, quick question on rim size.

I have 09 997 C2.

I have standard 18s on it and want to pick up a set of Turbo II 19" rims.

I've seen the front sets are standard at 19x8.5. The seller I was going with has the rears at 19x11. I just noticed a different seller has the rears 19x9.5.

When speaking to the initial seller (19x11) I asked if this is the right fitment for the Porsche 997 narrow body since it isnt a wide body C4. They said sure. Now Im curious why the other seller has the rears at 9.5??

Could you please
1. Tell me which fitment I should have for a 997.2 Carrera? and
2. Which would you go with?

Thanks !

9.5 is for a Cayman. You'll want an 11 in the rear but 11s come in a wide body offset (51mm) and narrow body offset (67mm). You can put a wide body rim on but it will be pushed out (similar to using a 16mm spacer) if you want that look.

8.5 in front is correct. Rear can be 11 or 11.5. Same tires, but stretched on the 11.5 which helps cornering.

thanks guys. so heres my question, and forgive me for not clearly understanding. the c2 is a narrow body right? so if the wheel is a wide body offset, does that mean it'll be sticking out and look weird?

Please try to clarify for me! I dont want the car looking strange. In my mind, Im thinking the wide offset is for a c4 or turbo type model with the wheel flares....so how would it be on a narrow body?

Here are the specs:
Specifications:
Size: 19x8.5 Front / 19x11 Rear
Bolt Pattern: 5x130
Finish: Black Machined Face
Offset: ET57 Front / 11" ET62
Hubcentric: 71.6

The widebody offset will be about 15mm extended from what you would see with the narrowbody offset. Measure 15mm to see what it looks like (less than 1.5 inchws) and you should be satisfied it won't look strange. Many run widebody offset rear wheels on narrowbodies.

Great, thanks! My only fear was that it would look like...forgive me for the comparison, but one of those civics with pushed out wheels !

So last question, with those spects and bolt patter and hubcentric specs, perfect fit right?

Should fit perfect but the offset doesn't seem right. Wide body offset should be 51 mm. See page 13 of the tequipment catalog.
Are they replicas?

Yes to being replica's. Turbo II Rims from OEM Wheels Plus. So are you saying the offset is incorrect?

Thats the part that confuses me the most...

I don't know the details about offsets, etc, but I had great service from the guys at Wheel Enhancements...they were very helpful when I was looking for a good winter wheel setup with spacers. They actually had some new OEM wheels that had been removed from a new car...cost more than knock-offs, but a ton less expensive than buying new OEM.

19"x8.5" ET58

Thanks Gonz, just got your messege. The Replica is +10 more than yours. From my basic research it seems as though the offset isnt that big of a deal as is the size/width? THe offsets seem to differ by rim style so...I guess I should be ok. The fronts are 19x8.5 and rears are 19x11 and am thinking of going with 305s on the rear. All on my narrow body 997.2 C2.

Common opinion seems to be that I should be ok with all those specs and running those tires without 1. it being an issue and 2. without it looking ridiculous
