Default 09 911 Carrera

Hi All,

I'm a new member.

I'm interested in buying a 997.2, PDK with 40K miles. How much should I expect to pay for it?

Depends on the window sticker/options. Cars that have SC, SPASM, full leather, natural leather, PDK paddles on steering wheel, PSE is worth 10 to 15K more than a car that is a 997.2 PDK with none of the above options.

Thanks for the information. I've been reading posts on this site for some time now. Just joined recently, once I realized I cant stop thinking about a 911. Wife agreed I should proceed as long as it doesn't impact her. Suppose the car is equipped with items listed about above? what are we looking at here just south of 60K?

Big range. You have to make sure it has SC for a 997.2 with PDK. Although you can add it as an aftermarket option. PDK without SC is a drag. Are you looking at a S or non S. I'd say a decently equipped S is in the $60K range with 40K miles. Give or take a few thou. Take off $5K or so for a non S.

Pictures, year, specs and price. Do you have a link? You might be able to find a 997.2 with less miles but if it is a good price then go for it. You need to find out what the current wholesale cost is to see how much margin the dealer has it marked up. Obviously, they need to make money but you don't want to get gouged. Are you buying CPO from Porsche dealer or from private party? What are the options?

Did it already sell? There is no '09 in the listing brought up by your link.

Ok, that's a non S with 37k miles, manual for $59k. You should be able to get them down some. I think its decently equipped. Good seats, Bose, UAI, BT, etc. I'd certainly be interested in that one. Get a PPI and get er done.

I live in the Atlanta area and actually bought my 2009 911 S from Jim Ellis in August. Do you want me to swing by the dealership and take a look? Which salesperson are your working with? Let me know.

I just looked at the Jim Ellis Porsche web site. Is it the 09 black/black listed for $58,950? If so, and since the car is CPO, your salesperson is going to give you hard sell on the cost to Jime Ellis to CPO the car. When I bought mine I had a set price in my head based upon what other comparely equipped/mileage cars were going for nationwide. I ended up paying slightly more than I had set in my mind but got them to come off the price by about $2,000.

Jeffrec,

Thanks for the reply. Yes that is the car. The sales person said he would send me pictures when the car got back from being detailed. Haven't gotten them yet. Thanks for offering to look at the car for me. If you want to swing by, please do.
